Hitchin Inspired 2018
Charity Exhibition 27th-29th June 2018, Arkley Fine Art, Hitchin
Open Submissions Call 1st – 15th June
Arkley Fine Art are pleased to announce Hitchin Inspired 2018 with Hitchin Art Hub, an exhibition of the finest art on offer in the region following open submissions.
All the proceeds from Hitchin Inspired 2018 will be donated to the charity organisation GRIT. We are looking to the artists of Hitchin and the surrounding areas to put forward their best work for selection and exhibit on the walls of Arkley Fine Art, this could see some 25 to 30 pieces exhibited during the last week of June before a final selection evening where special guests will choose three works of art for a further week, displaying alongside our portfolio of renowned professional artists.
A minimum £5 charitable donation is required as entry fee along with a digital image of the work of art to be considered. Representatives from Arkley Fine Art and Hitchin Art Hub will select the works they would like to see reach the walls. All submissions will be featured in an on-line exhibition catalogue.
Submissions will open on the 1st June 2018 for 15 days through our website. Please check back for details and follow us on Instagram & Facebook for all information @ArkleyFineArt
In the meantime, these are the main things any artist looking to submit their work will need to know:

This may be a 2d original wall art in any medium including but not limited to oil, acrylic, water colour, pencil, mixed materials, digital art, as well as photographic prints or sculptures
Work must be no greater than 28 inches on its longest edge, including frame. (we have limited space and are hoping to share as many suitable works as we possibly can)
Selected work must be delivered between 23rd and 25th June and must be prepared for exhibition, wall art must therefore be suitably prepared for hanging with either string or wire that is within the area of the work.
Your art will be suitable for showing in a public gallery space, while we absolutely respect your right to artistic expression and creativity, for the purpose of this exhibition we will not show work which we feel could be offensive for general viewing, our decision about what this means will be final.
