Alberto & Mark

Alberto and Mark is a creative partnership between two established artists: photographer and multi-media artist Alberto Sanchez, artist and designer Mark Venice. They first met in Byron Bay, Australia and had an immediate creative affinity. What started as a weekly coffee and artistic conversation soon evolved into ideas and techniques that resulted in an exciting collaborative new practice.

Alberto known for his ‘Hybrid’ works of photographs and unique hand painting techniques that are meshed into highly original works of dynamic brushstrokes and vivid colours has seen him invited to participate in exhibitions all over the world, from Korea, China, Australia, USA to Europe.

Alberto is represented by Kunsthuizen in The Netherlands, Retrospect Galleries, Manyung Galleries in Australia and Fabrik Projects in Los Angeles.

Mark is a well respected and established designer with commissions from private collectors and major corporate clients: Park Hyatt Hotel, Sydney, Mandarin Oriental Macau and Las Vegas, Wynn Casino Macau, Crown Towers Villas, Sydney and Four Seasons, Singapore.

The series ME ME ME is all about a self-obsessed society. Playing with an arresting combination of digital printing, hand-applied elements, spray painting and LED lights, it explores the self-ie obsession of today and past centuries
