ORIGINAL STENCIL ARTWORKS
"All the ‘stencils’ are based on various original oil paintings, and are just a fun, playful departure from my usual photorealist work. I use acrylic paint and spray cans to create them, and particularly love the splattering, it’s nice to do work that’s a little more unpredictable. The larger pieces aren’t actually stencilled, they’re just based on much smaller stencils I’ve created, I’ve literally scaled up the stencilled shapes by eye." - Sarah Graham -

"Unusually for me, these little studies were all painted from life, in a very spontaneous way. I wanted them slightly out of focus, so blurred the paint as I worked. They were made especially for the exhibition, I wanted a ‘Pick and Mix’ of art!" - Sarah Graham
