Bob & Eve
Bob & Eve was founded by Corinna Wilson in 2020. The name evolved from the words bobbin and weave in reference to her use of textiles as a medium. Aiming to brighten the world with humour, her colourful works are an expression of her irreverent take on modern society. Using a combination of hand-tufted and machine-based techniques to create one-off pieces of art with wool, each artwork is designed and made in her studio in Brighton.
She grew up in a fairly traditional household surrounded by tapestries, cross-stitch, and patchwork quilts, which instilled in her a love of creating, crafting, and textiles. Having a background in commercial illustration, she was looking for a way to make images that had more of a handcrafted feel to them and evoked a sense of nostalgia.
For inspiration, she listens to podcasts, conversations, and comedy. She has always loved British humour and music, when people reference the everyday conversation or topics so distinctive to British society—Jarvis Cocker singing about Common People, The Kinks singing about The Village Green Preservation Society, John Cooper Clarke poems. She likes how they pick up on small details that spark a thought that people can relate to, often using humour to do so. She wants to create some joy and laughter through her artwork. It’s not supposed to be serious or challenging; she wants her work to represent the everyday in society, to find something people can connect with whilst making them laugh.

Curtains
Curtains is a self-taught artist, born in Brighton and now based in Seaford. He works with spray paint to create hard-edge paintings, describing his art as a fusion of shapes and colourful interactions, a jigsaw of spontaneous thoughts and at times, a journey into the unknown.
His inspiration comes from a life well-lived: skateboarding, all-night raves, mixing records, and producing music. Now, instead of blending sounds, he mixes shapes and colours, often painting to the beat of The Chemical Brothers.

Victoria Horkan
Victoria Horkan's paintings are a testament to her deep understanding of movement, form, and the dynamic energy that binds them. Having studied in Leeds, a place where the powerful presence of Henry Moore's sculptures punctuates the Yorkshire landscape, Victoria was inspired to transcend the traditional boundaries of classroom art. Her artistic journey led her beyond the studio walls, where she became captivated by the fluidity of movement in dance.
Attending dance classes, Victoria immersed herself in the rhythm and grace of the human body in motion, translating these experiences into her unique style of painting.
Early in her career, her exceptional talent for capturing the essence of creatures and the world around them was recognized. She honed this gift, making it the core of her artistic practice. Her paintings possess a three-dimensional quality, achieved through a masterful manipulation of paint that borders on the sculptural—a rare and sought-after technique that has made her a distinguished figure in the art world.
In her recent works, Victoria turns her focus to the powerful forces of nature, particularly the ocean and the storms that command it. With a dramatic interplay of light and dark, her atmospheric paintings evoke the raw power and beauty of the natural world. Her impasto technique, rich in texture and color, draws viewers into vivid narratives inspired by the sweeping vistas of Venice, Positano, and the Rocky Mountains. Each brushstroke in her work is a gesture of storytelling, capturing the very essence of movement, nature, and life itself.
Through her art, Victoria Horkan invites us to experience the world in motion, whether through the dynamic representation of nature as she sees it, or the tumultuous sway of the ocean. Her work stands as a bold exploration of form, movement, and the evocative power of paint.
